How can you support Wolo Foundation?

Whether you are a caring individual, a local business, a large corporate firm or someone who has been affected by cancer; Wolo is very much dependant on your support.

Donated funds are used to pay for services and experiences to help make the day-to-day lives of families affected by cancer easier. Each of the families we are supporting have very different on-going needs and we are trying hard to support them every way we can through various means. We’re helping them in practical ways to help make their cancer journeys that little bit easier.

We do not currently offer grants of money, but we are able to help fundraise for particular families in need through online fund-raising platforms. 100% of this money goes directly to these families and is separate from donated Wolo funds.

The list of services we are able to provide to families is growing all of the time. If you are able to help by either offering your skills, donating a gift, a service, or your time - we would be so grateful. Wolo wants to support businesses and in order to encourage healthy partnerships we understand that we cant expect you to offer your services/products for free all of the time. Wolo funds are used to pay for these (although any discount you are able to provide us with will help to stretch our funds further!). We do appreciate that discounts are not always possible (especially if you are helping us regularly), so please don’t be afraid to offer your help, even if you cant afford to do it for free or at a discounted rate all of the time. The important thing for us, is to build up a great network or services we are able to call on if a family needs them. 

We hold regular fundraising events and are always on the look out for raffle prizes or auction prizes. If you are able to donate a service, product or experience to help raise us money through these events, we would be very grateful.

Without your support we would not be able to help families at the most difficult time of their lives. Whichever way you choose to donate, every penny will help make the day-to-day lives of those affected by cancer easier, at a time when it’s needed the most.

There are so many other ways you can help, from setting up a regular donation to taking part in one of our challenge activities, attending an event, or holding your own fundraiser.

Wolo Foundation can only continue to provide support to those families who need it because of the generous support of people like you. Making a donation, however big or small, is a great way of supporting the vital work we do. Having a steady and reliable income is essential to our work, allowing us to forward plan and safeguard the future of the service.
