Wellness with Wolo is an ongoing project aimed at increasing awareness of our physical and mental health and wellbeing. Giving individuals and families the opportunities to try different practices and activities to proactively enhance their lives.
We want to inspire people to habitually prioritise self-care, to ensure they are surviving, thriving and living their best lives.
Wolo has been busy, working hard behind the scenes, and planning lots of upcoming wellness events. We have a calendar full of wellness activities tailored to nurture mind, body and soul.

Marcos will welcome you, and guide you through the process step by step, making sure you are comfortable all the way, and you experience as much or as little as you want.

Sharing Stories with Kevin Webber - Dead Man Running
Kevin has been a friend of WOLO for a few years now, he has been kind enough to write about WOLO in the Sunday Mirror and we are honoured that he is joining us to talk about his challenges both in health and the fundraisers he has taken on such as ultra-marathons and how he is making the most of what he has.....
Kevin has written a book, Dead Man Running: One Man's Story of Running to Stay Alive is inspirational. Diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in 2014 and given just two years to live, Kevin started a brutal regime of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
He also started running and refused to stop. Across the deserts of the Sahara, the snow and ice of the Arctic and the jungles of Cambodia, Kevin's journey has taken him from the depths of despair to achieving the impossible.
Thinking About Our Departure From This Life!
We know itβs not everyoneβs cuppa tea, talking about when our time is coming to end on this earth, but for some thereβs lots of questions, feelings and things we want others to know about what we want and how to do them when we are gone! Katie Costello is joining us to talk about, and guide us though some of the feelings and thoughts we might have around death.
Sharing stories with Kevin Donaghy - Stories Of Cancer And Hope
Stories Of Cancer And Hope is a collection of stories brought together by Kevin Donaghy from people affected by cancer. Hereβs Woloβs zoom chat with Kev.
Each story is a lived experience of the impact of the disease and by sharing our stories, we hope to help people affected by cancer to feel that you are not alone.

Wolo Stories
A mother of three young children under seven was referred to Wolo by the NHS during her chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. She contacted Wolo as she was struggling hugely with the physical and emotional side effects of chemotherapy and was finding it hard to care for her children and maintain her household.
