Help Wolo Foundation’s Urgent Appeal!

When Cancer Walks Through the Door, Everything Changes
One day, life feels normal.
School runs. Work emails. Dinner plans.

The next, there’s an appointment. A diagnosis. A word no family ever wants to hear.

Cancer doesn’t pause for young children.
It doesn’t pause for birthdays.
It doesn’t pause for bills that still need paying or homes that still need running.

And that’s when the Wolo Foundation steps in.

Standing Beside Families in Sussex
Across Sussex, families facing cancer are receiving vital Wolo support right now.
216 families have already been supported by Wolo and there are many more we haven’t met yet but who will need us.
That can be someone to talk to when the fear feels overwhelming, practical help when daily life becomes impossible, therapies that ease anxiety and restore strength or moments of comfort, dignity and light in the darkest chapter.

We don’t just offer services.
We offer breathing space, reassurance and the feeling of not being alone.

Now We’re Facing a Crisis of Our Own
Families are relying on Wolo for essential support. But rising demand and increasing costs mean we urgently need your help to keep our services running.

Without urgent funding, we may be forced to reduce - or even pause - the very support families depend on.

There are no other charities doing what we do here in Sussex. We are receiving more NHS referrals than ever before – yet we do not get any statutory funding.

The next months are critical.

If Wolo pauses, families lose more than a service.
They lose a lifeline.

“Wolo was built by this community, for this community. Right now, we need that same spirit of togetherness to keep vital support going for local families affected by cancer. Every donation — no matter the size — helps ensure we can continue to stand alongside them when they need us most.”

— Fler Wright, Co-Founder, Wolo Foundation

Families Can’t Pause Cancer.

Together, we can make sure their support doesn’t pause either.

Your donation today means:
- A parent gets emotional support when they feel they are breaking
- A family receives practical help when everything feels overwhelming
- A child sees their parent supported instead of struggling alone
- Wolo stays here ready, present and standing beside every family who needs us

Whether it’s £5, £10, £50, £250 - or a regular monthly gift, your donation keeps hope alive in homes across Sussex.

Families can’t pause cancer. We can’t let their support pause either.

Don’t Pause The Cause.
Please donate today and help ensure no family in Sussex faces cancer alone.
