The Wolo Magnificent 7
The Magnificent 7 rode in to Ashford last Friday completing a mammoth 157 mile loop of Kent known as the Cantii Way - what an achievement in this heat! Martin Crane EngTech AIoL and Damon Price Engtech MIGEM Price (GCS Compliance), Jamie Ross-Davies Ross-Davies and Julien Fougere (Rapid Energy), Steve Payne (Paynes Heating), Gavin Gould (Vaillant) and Stuart MacLean (The Hyde Group) completed the challenge in gruelling conditions on the hottest 3 days of the year so far.
Many thanks to the whole team.
The ride was organised to raise awareness for the amazing Wolo. WOLO Foundation help families living in Sussex through their cancer journeys. We support them by offering practical help and support to make their day-to-day lives easier. We work with local businesses and communities to offer families a wealth of services to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
Wolo pride themselves in offering a personal service to the families they support - they have no limit on the amount of support they provide, or the length of time they support for - cancer is a long journey - and Wolo are there throughout.
Statistics show that 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Life is precious - we need to make the most of it - we only live once - WOLO!
