Attended our first funeral
Organised and paid for a family photoshoot to create precious images a family will cherish forever

Helped ten families with cleaning their homes
Paid for five people diagnosed with cancer to have therapy to improve their outlook on life, and find the positives in their lives
Helped one family with electrical maintenance in their home
Paid for childcare to allow parents to attend counselling
Paid for a gardener to help maintain the garden of a family who have just lost a loved one to cancer
Created a photobook for a family to enjoy together in their last days with their loved one
Supported nine runners in the Brighton Half Marathon and Beachy Head Marathon
Attend a Wim Hof retreat to learn about focus, determination and experience an ice bath
Organised and paid for a family to travel to Manchester to have specialist treatment
Made a little girl’s dream come true by linking her up with the owner of some wolves
Organised and executed our first WoloFest family festival - with more than 150 people enjoying the activities, making new friendships and creating some moments to cherish forever
Do our first WingWalk
Got a juicing bike to use at events and encourage people to keep active and eat healthily
Presented to two organisations to tell them more about Wolo
Create exciting plans for new fundraising events in 2022
Collaborated with another charity (@furnihelp) to get a family a double bed delivered to their new home
Attended a survivor party
Gifted a family a food voucher
Ordered over £2k worth of Wolo merch to keep up with demand
Sent almost 100 thank you cards
Won £200 from Seaford Rotary
Planned an exciting range of running events for 2022
Promoted trustees to named roles
Started to plan an amazing fundraising event in South Africa in 2022 involving a trek/run and helping the conservation of giraffes at the same time
Booked our first glitzy spring ball
Met with a private school and secured our first ‘assembly’ educating children about cancer
Attended chemo with one of our families
Planned a fire walk for 2022
Got a little bit closer to securing an office space - Wolo HQ
Worked on our collaborations with Macmillan and other charities to improve the services to families in our area
Supported Alice with her 1000m bike ride during September all over Sussex
Fler embraced her ‘new’ body and took part in a Flat Friends photo shoot to help spread awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness month
Developed so many new relationships with individuals, companies and charities to help achieve our objective of supporting families on their cancer journeys
Helped to organise and fund driving lessons to increase independence for two families
Gifted four families tickets to Drusillas to create some @wolomoments together
Met up with a bereaved family and offered our continued support
Planted 4 saplings in memory of loved ones
Picked up, delivered and assembled 2 children’s beds

Our families are our friends. The Wolo community is growing and we couldn’t be happier that we can be there for people.
